PADDLEMAP

Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Olive Dating LLC (“Paddlemap,” “we,” “us”) for use of the Paddlemap app and website. By creating an account or using Paddlemap, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use Paddlemap on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your password and devices secure, and all activity on your account. Do not impersonate another person or use another player’s account. Notify us at hello@paddlemap.app if you believe your account was compromised.

Paddlemap’s role

Paddlemap helps people find pickleball courts, view court information, check in, see activity, make play plans, message other players, create or join groups, and discover related listings such as tournaments or coaches. Paddlemap does not operate or control most listed courts. We do not guarantee court availability, hours, access rules, lighting, surface condition, safety, or the accuracy of any listing. You are responsible for following facility rules and deciding whether a court is safe and appropriate to use.

Court information

Court data may come from public sources, Paddlemap, or community submissions. Information can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Community-submitted courts may appear only after review. Verify important details yourself before you travel or play.

Check-ins, wait times, and play plans

Check-ins are user-submitted and may expire automatically. They are not a guarantee that someone is still at the court. Wait-time reports are community estimates only. Play plans are informational and do not guarantee that another user will show up.

Safety and meeting other users

Paddlemap does not background-check users and does not guarantee anyone’s identity, intentions, or behavior. Use your own judgment when messaging or meeting other players. Meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and leave if you feel unsafe. Paddlemap is not responsible for interactions that happen on or off the app.

Your content

You keep ownership of photos, messages, bios, court submissions, and other content you create. You grant Paddlemap a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, process, moderate, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service. We do not claim ownership of your content beyond that license. You represent that you have the rights to submit it and that it does not violate the law or these Terms.

Public content

Content you post in public places — including court chat, public groups, public check-ins, public plans, and public profile fields — may be visible to other Paddlemap users. Do not post information you want to keep private.

Prohibited conduct

You may not use Paddlemap to harass, threaten, bully, or sexually exploit anyone; post hate speech, illegal content, spam, fraud, or malicious links; impersonate others; dox or share someone else’s private information without permission; attempt to break or scrape the service; manipulate check-ins or wait times; submit false court information; post abusive or inappropriate imagery; or infringe intellectual property. We may remove content or accounts that violate these rules.

Moderation

We may review reports, remove content, restrict features, remove users from groups, suspend or terminate accounts, and keep records reasonably needed for safety or legal reasons. We are not obligated to monitor all content, but we may act when we become aware of a problem.

Public groups

Users can create public groups that are discoverable by others. Owners and moderators can run their community, including removing members and, where available, transferring ownership, but group rules cannot override these Terms or the Community Guidelines. Paddlemap may remove a group or its content if it violates our rules.

Court chats and private groups

Court chats are community spaces for a court. Private groups and direct messages have a more limited audience. We do not promise that any conversation is confidential. Moderators and Paddlemap may still review reported content.

Blocking and reporting

You can block other users and report users or content from in-app Report controls. Blocking limits that person’s ability to interact with you. Reports are reviewed by Paddlemap staff or moderators.

Intellectual property

Paddlemap’s name, logo, software, user interface, graphics, and original content are owned by Olive Dating LLC or its licensors. You may not copy or use them except as needed to use the app. You keep ownership of your user-generated content as described above.

Third-party services

Sign-in may use Apple or Google. Maps and directions may open Apple Maps or other external apps. Linked websites and registration pages (for example a tournament URL) are not controlled by Paddlemap. Their terms and privacy policies apply.

Availability

We may change, interrupt, or discontinue features. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, outages, or events outside our control.

Disclaimer

Paddlemap is provided “as is” for recreational and social use. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not warrant that court data, activity counts, wait times, or other users’ statements are accurate or that play will be safe.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Olive Dating LLC and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or personal injury arising from your use of Paddlemap or from playing pickleball or meeting other users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) twenty-five U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in those places our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Olive Dating LLC against claims arising from your content, your use of Paddlemap, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with other users, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

Account termination

You may delete your account in the app at any time (Profile → Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, or are inactive. After termination, licenses you granted us may continue for copies already made as needed to operate the service or comply with law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and Olive Dating LLC agree that courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property or users.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
